We miss our friends, CBGB. One of my first NYC gigs was there, in 1989, with Frances Farmer My Hero, on the bill with Sound Garden. It’s been my living room ever since.
R.I.P., Hilly Cristal.

We’re happy to continue our relationship with NYC House Concerts, showcasing classical music’s top emerging talent.
CONGRATS Josh Diamond & The Brooklyn Soul, whose music was recorded at Garageland (Chris played bass, organ and co-produced) and was since placed in an episode of the ABC comedy series, "Happy Endings"!
The new self-titled vinyl 12" from Another Saturday Night was recorded and mixed at Garageland and released on Slow Gold Zebra Records.
The Brought Low banged out some killer new tunes in anticipation of their "Third Record", on Small Stone.
Congrats to John Gallagher Jr., who won a 2007 Tony Award for his performance in the Broadway musical, “Spring Awakening”! John recorded a few excellent songs with us in our old downtown studio.

Christopher currently plays bass (and occasionally guitar, vocals and organ) with The Setup, and Mishal Zeera, and guitar with The Sandy McKnight Fiasco.  A variety of studio projects is continuously emerging.

Sound design this season has taken Chris from Borough of Manhattan Community College to Barnard College (Columbia) and MCC at The Lortel Theatre.  Special thanks to Scott Killian.

Patrick Kauffman kept the tubes glowing and Richie Baxt kept the axes sharp.
