We will always miss our friends, CBGB. One of my first NYC gigs was there, in 1989, with Frances Farmer My Hero, on the bill with Sound Garden. It’s been my living room ever since.
R.I.P., Hilly Cristal.

Studio del Barrio Manhattan / Garageland NYC has been busy recording demos and broadcast ads with a talented array of voiceover artists. We are happy to take on exciting new projects, from singer/songwriters to bands, from commercials to independent film. Check out the STUDIO page for more info.
Congrats to John Gallagher Jr., who won a 2007 Tony Award for his performance in the Broadway musical, “Spring Awakening”! John recorded a few excellent songs with us in our old downtown studio.

Christopher plays bass (and occassionally guitar, vocals and organ) with Another Saturday Night, Grande and Heavy Creatures, and has appeared as a session player on several current projects, including Mishal Zeera, Josh Diamond and The Brooklyn Soul. A variety of studio projects is continuously emerging.

Sound design this season has taken Chris from Playwrights Horizons to Westport Country Playhouse (of Paul Newman fame) to Juilliard at Lincoln Center. Special thanks to Scott Killian, Sounds Like Art and Red Bull Theater.

Patrick Kauffman kept the tubes glowing and Richie Baxt kept the axes sharp.
