Christopher Peifer, New York-based musician, songwriter, sound designer and producer

CHRISTOPHER PEIFER is a rock musician, having recorded & toured the world with The Kowalskis, SiR, Frances Farmer My Hero & more. He's shared the stage with rock giants Soundgarden, dinosaurs Head East & Foghat, punk rockers Cheetah Chrome (Dead Boys), Vice Squad, & garage legends The Dirtbombs, The Woggles, and Eddie & the Hotrods.  A bass & guitar player (also organ & vocals), he is available for session work with original acts.
Formerly with ANOTHER SATURDAY NIGHT, and HEAVY CREATURES (both receiving international critical praise), Chris currently writes, records & performs with Steve Shiffman and the Land of No, Todd Giudice's Pig Iron (with Vito Luizzi of Johnny Winter and Allman Brothers), and BLOCKHOUSES (with Guy Lyons of The Figgs).

Chris has appeared playing guitar on camera, in the Amazon Studios series "Mozart in the Jungle", written by Jason Schwartzman. 
SOUND DESIGNER / COMPOSER (ASCAP) with credits from NY International Fringe Fest to regional and off-Broadway, including Manhattan Theatre Club, Westport Playhouse, George Street Playhouse, Philadelphia Theatre Company, Red Bull Theatre, Juilliard at Lincoln Center, Williamstown Theatre Fest, Shakespeare & Company, Berkshire Theatre Group, Primary Stages @ Cherry Lane Theatre, NYU Tisch School of the Arts, Barnard College (Columbia U), MCC at The Lortel.
